The Jamaica Avenue Line is a rapid transit (Metro) line of the New York City Subway system, providing service via the J and Z trains from Lower Manhattan to Jamaica, Queens with connections to the rest of the system. It served Jamaica, Richmond Hill, Woodhaven Cypress Hills, East New York, Bedford Stuyvesant, Williamsburg, Lower East Side and Finanacial district. Ridership is high during peak hours and low during off peak hours.
