Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne (W3:TFT) is the expansion pack to Warcraft III: The Reign of Chaos. It was released by Blizzard Entertainment in 2003, and includes a new hero and three to four new units per race, four campaigns, five neutral heroes and various other improvements such as queueable upgrades. The expansion requires the ownership of Reign of Chaos and is regularly updated with new patches, the latest being version 1.17.
Storyline
The storyline of the expansion is that, the prison keeper also known as the Warden must hunt down Illidan to put him back in his cell. The plot has many twists and turns. And the single player campaign focus more on diverse gameplay. For example there's a tug o war between the humans and the night elf. There's even a Tower Defence map that can be accessed by completing a secret code.
