I am physicist who has spent a lifetime working to make fusion power a reality. I also enjoy computing, gardening (antique apples a speciality, and gaming (Cribbage/Magic: the Gathering/Settlers of Catan). I introduced the Macintosh into the Dept of Energy shortly after it began production and used it to produce a fusion web page (http://www.ofes.fusion.doe.gov) (one of the very early web pages in the U.S.). I was struck by the power of the web at that time and I am now similarly impressed by the extent of the Wikipedia.
