Custom Sigs
I found out recently how these crazy people get their custom sigs. Well, with the preferences for the "Nickname", the box basically inserts your data inbetween [[User:YOURNAME| and ]].
Using this information, you can place the name to link to (whatever, really), followed by ]]. Then, you may place other links (such as to your talk page) and info (or a tiny image, which I have seen, or a colored flag via background colors) before the next the end, forgetting the last ]], as the site will add these on its own.
For example, my nickname space is the following:
TIB]] [[User_talk:The_Inedible_Bulk|(talk)
