Hey there, I'm a history graduate student at the University of Pennsylvania, where I study modern European history. I arise out of the lovely Maryland suburbs of Washington, DC.

From July 2 to August 24, 2004, I will be in Europe. My internet access during July is unclear - I'll be staying in a dorm in Mannheim, in Germany. From the end of July on, I'll be traveling, and internet access will be extremely limited. So, probably not much participation from me for the next few months. [Okay, I have internet here in Germany, but after July 29 I'll be gone...]

My interests are mostly in European history, although I've occasionally contributed to pop culture and literature pages. I seem to spend much time inputting 1911 Encyclopedia Britannica articles about 18th and 19th century British politicians. I also like lists. Why? God only knows, they're horrible, but yet, I am compelled, alas...

I've just started an account on the French Wikipedia! Mostly for (prospectively) adding lists, since my French isn't nearly good enough for actual article writing.

Hi, I noticed your vote in the previous VfD on Poland's betrayal by the Western Allies and wanted to let you know that I have reopened the issue and wish for you to please cast your vote at VfD--naryathegreat 23:49, Jul 6, 2004 (UTC)
