I was a music student before dropping out for reasons far too boring to relate (no, I wasn't failing). I currently co-run Audible Records (http://www.audiblerecords.co.uk) and sometimes do other things.
Here, I used to mainly deal with articles on classical music, but I've decided to leave them to others for a while. When I first arrived here a couple of years ago, the articles in that area weren't really very good, and as I knew a bit about the subject I felt my time would be best spent working on them. But now things aren't so bad, and there are a number of good people working on those articles, so I think my time can be better spent elsewhere. I'll probably still contribute articles on specific pieces every now and then, but I plan to concentrate on other things for the time being.

Everything I contribute to the Wikipedia is dedicated to the public domain (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/publicdomain/). This includes contributions to articles, talk pages, Wikipedia: pages and all other pages on the English Wikipedia, other language versions of the Wikipedia, and the meta Wikipedia.
