The Randi Rhodes Show

From TheBestLinks.com

The Randi Rhodes Show is a four-hour radio program hosted by Randi Rhodes combining live interview, call-in and commentary with a decidedly liberal bent. The show originates from New York and is featured on Air America Radio.

The Randi Rhodes Show is carried by several stations across the United States including AM 1290 WJNO West Palm Beach (her former broadcast home), AM1240 KSQR Sacramento, AM 1500 KUMU Honolulu, AM 1190 WLIB New York, AM 620 KPOJ Portland OR, and on Sirius Satellite Radio on Channel 144.

On September 29, 2004, musician Patti Smith appeared on the show and voiced her pro-Ralph Nader opinions for the Presidential Election. Randi Rhodes, who does not like Nader, preferred to talk about Smith and her musical career. An argument ensued, and an angry Patti Smith eventually left. Randi, a huge fan of Patti Smith, was devastated. The next day, she gave an emotional recap of the previous day, along with the news that Scott Muni, Randi's mentor, passed away the previous day.
