Dr. Tanaka Yoshiki (October 22, 1952-, Han characters: 田中 芳樹, Hiragana: たなか よしき) is a famous novelist in Japan. He was born in Kumamoto prefecture, and have his doctorate degree in Japanese Language and Literature in Gradate School of Gakushûin University in Tokyo.
His works include the fantasy novel Arslan Senki, Han characters: アルスラーン戦記 also known as the The Heroic Legend of Arslan.
His fantasy works also include Sôryûden. Han characters: 創竜伝.
His other famous works include the space opera anime and manga, entitled as Ginga Eiyû densetsu, Han characters: 銀河英雄伝説 Legend of the Galactic Heroes
