St Pancras

From TheBestLinks.com

St Pancras was a Roman citizen who converted to Christianity, and was beheaded for his faith at the age of just 14 around the year 304. Some of his relics found their way to England, which is why many of the nation's churches are dedicated to this saint. St Pancras is normally invoked against cramp, false witness, headache, and perjury. He is a patron saint of children.

St Pancras is also the name of a former London borough that was merged into the London Borough of Camden and is now best known for its mainline railway station which will become the new terminus for the Eurostar services through the Channel Tunnel.
