Sayam 780 BCE-720 BCE also spelled as Sam Sayam was grandson of Nariman the King of Sakastan. Father of Zal, grandfather of Rustam. Sayam was one of the major companion of Feridun when he was a prince and a chief general of army of Medes, who invaded armies of Assyrians, took most of Iran from Assyrians and Feridun became the first king of Kayanids. Sam was grandson of Nariman who was the King of Sakastan.
