The Pemalites are a fictional dog-like race of people who have long abandoned any sort of violence. They were featured in the popular book series, Animorphs. They had highly advanced technology, yet none of it was used for weapons. They were created by the Ellimist to spread peace, countering the destruction caused by Crayak. In addition, they were responsible for creating the android Chee.
Eventually, they were wiped out by Crayak's Howlers. However, some Chee who made it to the Earth grafted their essences into wolves, who later became domesticated into dogs that share some of the same traits that the Pemalites possessed.
