Painkiller is a PC game released in April, 2004 by DreamCatcher and People Can Fly. It attempts to replicate the 'old-school fps' gameplay of DOOM and Serious Sam. It has 24 levels, 5 of which are 'boss' levels. The game takes place in Purgatory and Hell. It has 5 guns, each with two modes of fire. It is notable for using the Havok 2.0 physics engine extensively.
