PEEK is a family of thermoplastic resins, of type polyetheretherketone. PEEK is a registered trademark of Victrex plc, the principal developer and manufacturer. PEEK resins are used in medical and chemical instrumentation, due to their extraordinary solvent resistance (comparable to PTFE) and physical strength. Tubing and fittings for high-pressure liquid chromatography are often made of PEEK.
