Overdose

Overdose is a medical term which describes the action of consuming an excessive amount of a drug. See drug overdose.

Such an action will result in side effects such as:

sweating
high blood pressure
headache
migraine
confusion
vertigo
nausea
vomiting
death (in the case of suicide this effect is intentional; the lethal dose is an "overdose" only with respect to the regular applications of the drug)

Some famous people have been known to have died from overdosing (see also : List of famous deaths by accidental drug overdose)
