Night elves are a fictional race of elves in the Blizzard WarCraft series of computer games. The have a deep purple skin, long ears, and hair ranging in blue to purple colors. The men are always of reasonably slim (yet well muscled) build, and the women are the same height as the men; around 6.5' tall. The elves lived on the continent known as Kalimdor and were never seen by Orcs or Humans until they were introduced to the Warcraft Universe in WarCraft III: Reign of Chaos.
Night elves were immortal until the destruction of the World Tree at the end of WarCraft III: Reign of Chaos. The male elves were all druids while the females were warriors (though they all used ranged weapons such as bows).
Night Elves have been in the following computer games released by Blizzard:
- WarCraft III: Reign of Chaos
- WarCraft III: The Frozen Throne
They will also be included as one of the playable races in the upcoming World of Warcraft MMORPG to be released in summer 2004 by Blizzard.
