Nariman

From TheBestLinks.com

Nariman (Nariman) founders of Royal kingdom of Sakastan, was the grandfather of Sam, and great grandfather of Zal. Shahnameh has not given much information about Nariman however what we do know he may have lived anywhere between 990 BCE-900 BCE. Nariman was descendants of Kariman who was grandson of Hushang 1500 BCE who was then related with King Yama.

There is often a confusion between Iranians and Afghans who believe relating Nowroz, Afghans believe it was King Yama who created nowroz and Iranians believe it was King Jamshid. This makes them either two or one and the same. Without any argument is dated to be as far beyond upto 2000 BCE also mentioned in Sanskrit as one of Gods, and since to be the first king, of Aryana, it can be concluded that king Jamshid may have been one of his last descendants who reach tips of Western Iran or somewhere near Tehran ranging war with local Iranians Elamites. Most likely from 1200 BCE to 1500 BCE. Therefore it can be said that King Jamshid introduced Nowroz to Persians. There is still big argument whether King Yama is same as King Jamshid, because Afghans believe King Yama was the one came up with Nowroz at his capital of Balkh and according to Iranians who quote Shahnameh Jamshid was the one who came up with Nowroz. Its most likely that King Yama may have been King Kayumar but not King Jamshid. From Shahnameh it can be estimates to be anywhere that King Kayumar may have lived anywhere from 2500 BCE- 2000 BCE, during the uprise of Aryana.
