MoleZ

sv:MoleZ

MoleZ is a computer game for DOS, developed in 1997 by FRACTiLE Games; it has been freeware since christmas 1999. Like its follow-up Liero (1998), MoleZ is a real time variant of the turn-based computer game Worms. MoleZ is played by two to four human players who play each mole and are supposed to kill each other as many times as possible.

The weapons arsenal contains 17 weapons, of which most remain in Liero. In addition to weapons there is a ninja rope, differing from Liero's rope, in that it's significantly weaker and releases while it's used. The weapon arsenal, graphics and gaming feeling are also much more simple than in Liero. A plus to MoleZ is that the game has music both while it's played and in menus. The music is however not possible to turn off inside the game, something easily fixed through erasing the files ingame1.mus, ingame2.mus and menu.mus. Liero has no music and has many identical sounds from MoleZ.
