Kino no Tabi: A Beautiful World is a seires of 7 novels, which had been turned into an animation Japanese television show. Released in 2003 by Genco, it consists of 13 episodes.
In the show the protagonist, Kino, moves through a mostly idyllic world that is dominated by serene landscapes, although technology does exist. Kino is accompanied by a talking motorbike. The world is not heavily magical, although it has a certain fairy-tale quality.
