K'Ehleyr

From TheBestLinks.com

(Redirected from K'Ehlyr)

K'Ehleyr is a character in the fictional Star Trek universe. She is half-Klingon and half-human. She was played by actress Suzie Plakson.

When the Klingon "sleeper ship" (a ship with a crew in suspended animation) T'Ong was being returned to Klingon space in 2365, K'Ehleyr was the supervising emissary, on the mission to prevent a possible incident involving the Klingons onboard the T'Ong, who thought the Klingon Empire was still at war with the Federation. K'Ehleyr and Worf had previously been romantically involved, and when she came onto the Enterprise, the two reconciled during one of Worf's calisthenic holodeck programs; Worf proposed to K'Ehleyr, but she refused.

After the successful aversion of an incident with the revived crew of the T'Ong, K'Ehleyr took command of the Klingon ship. At an unknown time after that, K'Ehleyr became a Federation ambassador to the Klingons, and it was in this capacity that she came aboard the Enterprise again in 2367 to speak to Captain Picard. She shocked Worf by bringing their son Alexander. Alexander had been born in 2359, but Worf had never known of his existence.

After an explosion during the Klingon rite of accession, K'Ehleyr pursued an investigation. When she found evidence that Duras was the culprit, and that he had previously worked to unjustly discredit Worf, Duras murdered her in her quarters on the Enterprise.
