Joe Haldeman

Joe Haldeman (born June 9, 1943) is an American science fiction author.

His most famous novel is The Forever War, inspired by his experiences as a draftee in the Vietnam war, won both the Hugo and Nebula Awards. He later turned it into a series. He teaches at MIT.
