Henryk Zygalski (1906-1978) was a Polish mathematician and cryptographer who joined the Biuro Szyfrow in 1932. He was on the team, with Marian Rejewski and Jerzy Rozycki, that broke messages encyphered by the German Army's version of the Enigma. He designed the Zygalski sheets — a method for attacking Enigma — in 1938.
