H-II A

From TheBestLinks.com

Intro

The H-IIa is a liquid rocket platform for launching satellites into geostationary orbit. It is made in Japan by the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (AKA JAXA) and launched from the Tanegashima Space Center. <p> It is based on the earlier H-II rocket, yet has completely been redesigned to maximize safety/reliability and minimize costs. There are also several different versions of the H-2a to be used for different payloads.
