Ellen Ripley is the protagonist in the Alien movie series. She is played by Sigourney Weaver. She has had one daughter, who grew up and died while she was in coldsleep, and adopted similarly aged Newt to mother something other than her cat. She also birthed an alien queen.
Various clones of Ellen Ripley have existed for the purpose of experimentation with xenomorphs.
