Eli Lilly and Company has made breakthroughs with major pharmaceutical products, such as cephalosporin, erythromycin, insulin, and, with Prozac, arguably the world's most prominent selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor. In addition to Prozac, some of Lilly's famous product trademarks include Humalog and Zyprexa.
A 38-year old pharmaceutical chemist, Eli Lilly, founded the company in 1876.
