Disassortative sexual selection

From TheBestLinks.com

Disassortative selection selection is a form of sexual selection in which one sex chooses the other, in such a way that the offspring benefits from the diversity of the parental genotypes. Two examples of this form of selection are self-incompatibility in plants and MHC class III genes.
