Bursa Province

Bursa is a province in western Turkey. It has an area of 11 087 km� and a population of 2 125 140 according to the 2000 census. In 1990 it had a population of 1 603 137. The popultaion per km� is 191,68. The traffic code is 16.

The capital is the ancient city of Bursa. Other cities include Mudanya, Zeytinbagi (Trilye), Gemlik and Iznik (Nicaea). The Bursa Province is divided into seventeen districts: Nil�fer, Yıldırım, Osman Gazi, B�y�k Orhan, Gemlik, G�rsu, Harmancık, İneg�l, İznik, Karacabey, Kales, Kestel, Mudanya, Mustafa Kemal Paşa, Orhaneli, Orhangazi and Yenişehir.
