Office bulletin board

A bulletin board is a place where people can leave public messages, for example, to advertise things to buy or sell, announce events, or provide information. Bulletin boards are often made of a material such as cork to facilitate addition and removal of messages.

Computerised bulletin boards, also known as bulletin board systems, have been popular for many years. The term is also used to mean an Internet forum.

An album by The Partridge Family is named Bulletin Board.

Bulletin board is the name of one of a basic graphics widget in the OSF/Motif software programming framework.
