Blaster (Japanese Name: Broadcast; Later, Twincast)
Blaster is the Autobot Communications officer (Also an espionage agent) in the G1 universe. His transformation is that of a 1980s style boombox and is the commander of several smaller robots who turn into casettes. Among those are Steeljaw, a lion, and Ramhorn, an ill-tempered rhino. He also composed music.
Blaster was destroyed in Transformers: Headmasters during a fight with Soundwave (who also perished in the fight) and rebuilt two episodes later as Twincast, with a blue/yellow color scheme as opposed to the red/yellow previously.
His transformation into a cassette deck has led to his disuse in modern continuity.
