BeGeistert is a bi-annual BeOS users conference. In recent years, it has however become a developers conference for both Haiku and YellowTAB Zeta.
The conference has been held in Dusseldorf, Germany every April and October, excepting its first outing in December of 1998.
The 13th BeGeistert will be held in Dusseldorf on the 16th-17th of October, 2004.
The standard organisation of the event, in recent years, has involved a demonstration by one of the European BeOS software vendors, such as YellowBites, along with a coding demonstration, and a demonstration by one or both of Haiku and YellowTAB. Other events vary year to year.
In the past, coding challanges at the event have produced the first localisable version of OpenTracker.
