Avant Browser (previously called IE Opera) is an internet browser. The latest version, Avant 8.02 Build 212, was released on January 19, 2004. It can run on the platform of Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows NT, Windows 2000 and Windows XP. Based on Internet Explorer rendering engine, it has lots of features similar to those on Opera, like tabbed windows, pop-up blocking, etc. It can be taken as the balance between IE and Opera.
