Alabama 3 is an electronica band from Brixton, England, a suburb of London. In the United States, they are known as A3 (the alias was thrust upon them after a lawsuit by the well-established country music band Alabama).
Their sound is a self-professed blend of country, blues, gospel, and acid house.
A shortened version of A3's song Woke up this morning plays during the opening credits of the HBO television series The Sopranos.
