Ailuranthrope is a lesser-known phrase that refers to a feline therianthrope. It comes from the Greek words "ailouros" meaning "cat", and "anthropinos", meaning "human".
Although canines are much more prevalent in the therianthropy's online community, felines are the second most common type. Although most are (or at least, claim to be) big cats, ailuranthropes also include smaller felines, including more obscure, small felids, and even domestic cats.
