Agaete is a municipality of Las Palmas province, at Canary Islands. It's northwest on Grand Canary island.
Agaete's surface is 45,50 kmē and it's population of about 5,635 inhabitants (ISTAC (http://www.gobiernodecanarias.org/istac/), 2003). Its maximum altitude is 43 meters.
