Portgas D. Ace is Monkey D. Luffy's brother in the One Piece manga and anime.
Luffy and his crew first met Ace in the capitol of the country Arabasta, where Vivi is princess.
Ace has eaten the Mera Mera Fruit (Flame Flame Fruit), one of the Devil Fruits, and is able to turn himself into fire (as Smoker can turn himself in to smoke).
