Aalst

Aalst is a small town near Eindhoven (6km). Prior to World War II, it merged with the municipality of Waalre to form Aalst-Waalre.

Aalst is also the name of a town in Belgium. To keep unique names throughout the Benelux, Aalst in the Netherlands uses the name of Waalre for most official purposes, including postal addresses and digital maps.
